With 2026 in full swing and spring on its way (Thank goodness in Chicago), we’re seeing a big return to some trends of the 2010s in the jewelry world.
Bold colors, maximalist styles, and personal appeal; more and more people are moving away from the small, dainty styles of the last few years, and investing in a few, bigger statement choices.
Today, jewelry is less about blending in and more about standing out. People are looking for pieces that feel expressive and uniquely theirs.
From vibrant gemstones to sculptural vintage-inspired designs and personalized details, here are a few of the jewelry trends we’re especially loving in 2026.
Vintage Appeal
Vintage style elements are capturing the hearts of many people with a penchant for nostalgia.
More and more clients are coming in looking for engagement rings that feel truly unique. They want pieces that incorporate personal details from their story or design elements that bring a different aesthetic than the sleek, minimal styles that have dominated in recent years.

Antique-inspired cuts like old mine, elongated cushion, and marquise are ranking among some of the most trendy shapes for engagement rings, giving pieces that historic, heirloom feel. Subtle design details such as milgrain edges, engraved filigree, or Art Deco–inspired diamond bands are also making a comeback, offering a new way to blend classic designs with a fresh modern twist.

Bold Colors
Color is taking the jewelry world by storm in 2026, giving people more ways than ever to express themselves.

From experimenting with different color combinations to incorporating meaningful birthstones, many are embracing color as a way to make their jewelry feel like an extension of their individuality.
The growing popularity of lab-grown gemstones is also making color more accessible than ever. Whether someone is drawn to a vibrant deep blue sapphire or a soft blush pink diamond to add a pop to an outfit, it’s now possible to achieve those beautiful shades without the traditionally high price tag.
This shift is allowing more people to explore color and creativity in their jewelry while still investing in pieces that feel special and meaningful.
Make Way for Maximalism
Chunky gold rings, big structural pieces, mixed metals— think bold jewelry that makes a statement— it’s all in for 2026.

While subtle pieces were popular for the last few years, more and more people are craving jewelry that screams loud and luxury. Instead of buying several small pieces, more and more people are favoring investing in one big statement piece
Don’t throw out those thin chains and dainty rings just yet though! One of the easiest ways people are embracing this trend is by stacking. Layering several thin chains together or stacking multiple delicate rings can create the same bold, full look.
Biggest Trend: Creativity and Freedom

Jewelry is meant to be fun and evolve with the times. What makes 2026 especially exciting is how many people are embracing pieces that truly reflect their individual style and personality.
Whether that means a vintage-inspired engagement ring with old-world character, a vibrant gemstone that adds a pop of color, or a bold gold piece that instantly elevates an look, jewelry is becoming more about self-expression than ever before.
